METHOD OF PRODUCING SEEDS FOR PLANTS HAVING RESISTANCE TO SEEDLING DISEASES, AND METHOD OF PREVENTING THE ONSET OF AND ELIMINATING SEEDLING DISEASES

　In order to ensure the stable production and supply of food, a safe, inexpensive microbial agrichemical which imparts a strong resistance to seedling diseases such as bakanae disease has been developed.　Specifically provided is a method of producing seeds for plants having resistance to seedling diseases by bringing a non-pathogenic fungus corresponding to a seed-borne pathogenic fungus into contact with the flowering parts of a host plant before or after flowering as a microbial agrichemical, and subsequently recovering the resultant host plant seeds which have been colonized by the non-pathogenic fungus. Also provided is a method of eliminating seedling diseases using the seeds.
