<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spline hub cleaning apparatus which can be attached easily to a spline hub and simultaneously cleans concave and convex parts of the spline hub. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for cleaning a spline hub comprises: a hollow ring plate 6 including a surface plate 4 and a core material 5, formed in a ring-like shape which can be inserted into a spline hub 1, and having an inner diameter 3A set to be substantially the same as the outer diameter 3A formed by connecting the summit parts of the convex part 2 of the spline hub 1; a surface plate 9; and a core material 10. The apparatus is equipped with a waved hollow ring plate 11 having waveform of projections 8A and recesses 8B in the inner circumferential part. The projections 8A are formed so as to be brought into contact with convex parts 7 of the spline hub 1 and the recesses 8B are formed so as to be brought into contact with convex parts 2 of the spline hub 1. The inner diameter 8B formed by connecting the summit parts of the projections 8A is set to be substantially the same as the outer diameter 7A formed by connecting the bottom parts of the convex parts 7 of the spline hub 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
