METHOD FOR PRODUCING GEL FIBER AGGREGATE HAVING BUNDLED STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a bundled gel fiber aggregate having excellent mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: (a) preparing a solution containing a first pre-gel agent and a second pre-gel agent; (b) injecting the solution into a microchannel; (c) injecting a first cross-linking agent into the microchannel, thereby allowing the first pre-gel agent to gelate to form a template gel fiber having a filamentous elongated shape; (d) adding a second cross-linking agent to the solution containing the template gel fiber, thereby cross-linking the second pre-gel agent in a state of being retained in a bundled shape within the skeleton of the template gel fiber to form a gel fiber composite having a structure in which a gel formed by cross-linking the second pre-gel agent is covered with the template gel fiber; and (e) adding a gel-removing agent to the solution containing the gel fiber composite, thereby removing the template gel fiber to obtain a gel fiber aggregate having a bundled structure.
