<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a clerk or a customer to grasp by which method a registered commodity was registered.SOLUTION: A commodity information display device includes acquisition means and display control means. The acquisition means acquires a piece of commodity information on a commodity recognized by a first method of reading a code symbol and a piece of commodity information on the commodity recognized by a second method of recognizing the commodity on the basis of features in the appearance of the commodity included in image data picked up by a camera. The display control means displays the pieces of commodity information acquired by the acquisition means in a display by differentiating display forms between the commodity information on the commodity recognized by the first method and the commodity information on the commodity recognized by the second method.</p> |
