On a steering shaft there is a driver's switch for controlling a traversing gear. On a part under load there is a fold-away driver's standing platform (7) that swivels on bearings on a swivel pin (8) horizontal to the longitudinal axis of an elevating truck on the part under load, especially near a battery compartment on the part under load. When swung out, the driver's standing platform rests on forks (4a,4b) under load.
