Apparatus for changing rolls of a straightening machine (1), said straightening machine comprising a plurality of cantilever roll shafts (11, 11') receiving the rolls, characterized in that the apparatus comprises:
- at least a trolley (5,5') comprising means (22) for supporting an entire set of upper and/or lower rolls to be installed in or taken off from said straightening machine,
- at least two vertical plates (3) spaced apart horizontally,
- means (36) for releasably securing the plates to the trolley,
- actuating means (4) connected to the plates and intended to be received in first passages (18) defined in said straightening machine, said actuating means (4) being able to reversibly displace said plates (3) and said trolley (5, 5') between a first position wherein the plates and the trolley are close to the straightening machine and a second position wherein the plates and the trolley (5, 5') are spaced apart from the straightening machine. |
