A personal communication device ("PCD") holder 270 includes first 272 and second 274 injection moulded housing portions, each including a data signal blocking material, which may be hinged together. The holder may include an opening (Fig. 15; 238) which can be opened selectively, for example by turning a dial to allow signal communication to/from the PCD. The injection moulded portions may be formed from conductively filled polymers such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrenes (ABS), polyether block amides (PEBA), polyamide alloys, high density polyethylene (HDPE), thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) or styrene ethylene butylenes styrene block copolymer (SEBS). A data signal blocking gasket may be fitted to at least one of the first and second housing portions, or the mating surfaces of the sidewalls of the housing portions may form a tongue 276 and groove 278 lock. |
