1. A wireless base station having a plurality of antennas and performing wireless communication by using at least two antennas comprising:
an obtaining unit that obtains information concerning reception quality of each of the plurality of antennas; a recognition unit that recognizes a variation trend of a value in relation to reception quality of each of the antennas obtained by the obtaining unit; a determination unit that determines a degree of correlation between the antennas based on the variation trend of the value in relation to the reception quality of each of the antennas recognized by the recognition unit, and a selection unit that selects at least two antennas, among the plurality of antennas, to be used for wireless communication, based on the degree of correlation between the antennas determined by the determination unit.
