PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail for motion guide device capable of restricting stress generated at four corners of a hollow part of the rail while assuring easiness of resilient deformation of the rail.SOLUTION: When a rail 1 placed on a flat surface is seen through its sectional view, the rail 1 has a bottom side 11 placed on a horizontal surface, a top side 12, and a pair of right and left side walls 14 connecting the bottom side 11 with the top side 12. The side walls 14 of the rail 1 are formed into a V-shape having a lower side 16 forming an acute angle with a bottom side 11 and having an upper side 15 forming an acute angle with the top side 12. A first virtual vertical line 41 passing through the most outside part in a right-left direction of a hollow part 17 of the rail 1 is positioned closer to a center line C1 of the rail 1 than a second virtual vertical line 42 passing through the most recessed part of the outer shape of the side wall 14 of the rail 1. |
