PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator rope swing restraining device that simplifies an entire configuration.SOLUTION: An elevator rope swing restraining device includes: three movable swing stop bodies 51a, 51b, and 51c in which a guide hole 514 for inserting a main rope 2 therein is formed and which are guided by a guide rail 6 for an elevator car; and a support device 53 of the movable swing stop bodies that is disposed between an elevator car 1 and the movable swing stop bodies 51a, 51b, and 51c, and between a stationary swing stop body 52 and the movable swing stop bodies 51a, 51b, and 51c, and that has a tension spring 531 extending and contracting in an elevating/lowering direction of the elevator car 1 to support the movable swing stop bodies 51a, 51b, and 51c. The support device 53 of the movable swing stop bodies elevates/lowers the movable swing stop bodies 51a, 51b, and 51c while varying a distance between the elevator car 1 and the movable swing stop bodies 51a, 51b, and 51c by extension/contraction of the tension spring 531 by elevation and lowering of the elevator car 1. |
