Weldable assembly is made from a supple or rigid film support (103) with a macro-printed circuit on one side and a series of photovoltaic cells (102) on the other, and differs in that the film has holes (104) through it corresponding with the connection points on the backs of the cells so they can be welded or brazed to couple them electrically via the printed circuit. The cells, which are polygonal, quadrilateral or circular in shape and laid out so they adjoin one another, have at least one connecting point on each side. After welding the cells and support are sandwiched between layers (112) of suitable plastic film and glass outer layers (113). |
