The invention provides a pocket fixing device of a sewing machine for ensuring the rigidity of a pocket foot plate with arbitrary dimension to improve durability. The pocket fixing device of a sewing machine is provided with a base, a main cloth foot for pressing the main cloth, a pocket foot for pressing pocket cloth, and a control part for controlling the main cloth foot and the pocket foot. The pocket foot is provided with a pocket foot plate for pressing the pocket cloth overlapped on the main cloth foot through a snip of the main cloth foot, an advance and retreat part for supporting the pocket foot plate on the front end thereof and making the base support the base end which is rotatablely to make the pocket foot plate advance and retreat relative to the snip, a connecting block for connecting the front end of the advance and retreat part with the pocket foot plate, and a pocket lifting part for lifting the pocket foot plate through rotating the advance and retreat part. The advance and retreat part is a plurality of pressure cylinders in-line, and can be used for adjusting the distance between the base and the connecting block. |
