PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin retainer capable of suppressing a decrease in strength of a weld surface formed when injection molding is performed, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a resin retainer for a rolling bearing, the resin retainer is molded by injecting a molten resin into a cavity from at least one resin injection gate that is provided at a peripheral edge of a cavity formed within a molding die. Injection molding is performed by using the molding die in which flow velocity control means for controlling a flow velocity of the molten resin is formed on this side of a weld surface. A dimple is formed as the flow velocity control means, for example, in the molding die. |
