Embodiments of the present invention provide a multi-link-based data transmission method comprising: a first device establishes a first tunnel in each of a plurality of different types of links of an established communication connection between said first device and a second device; the first device establishes a second tunnel that traverses the first tunnels established in said plurality of different types of links; the first device analyzes the load state of each first tunnel traversed by the second tunnel, and selects a first tunnel to be used for transmitting a target packet; the first device encapsulates said target packet into the second tunnel, and sends same to the second device via the first tunnel used to transmit the target packet. Accordingly, embodiments of the present invention also provide a data transmission device. Embodiments of the present invention can increase the utilization of links supported by a network device. |
