Provided is an electrolytic capacitor comprising the following: a capacitor element that has an anode member having on the surface thereof a first dielectric coating film, a cathode member having on the surface thereof a second dielectric coating film, and a solid electrolyte layer which includes a conductive polymer interposed between the anode member and the cathode member; a nonaqueous solvent which is impregnated into the capacitor element; and a case for sealing the capacitor element and the nonaqueous solvent. The second dielectric coating film is formed by chemical conversion processing, and the surface thereof is treated with a silane coupling agent. The electrolytic capacitor comprises the following: a capacitor element that has an anode member having a dielectric coating film, and a solid electrolyte layer formed on the surface of the dielectric coating film; a nonaqueous solvent which is impregnated into the capacitor element; and a case for sealing the capacitor element and the nonaqueous solvent. The surface of the solid electrolyte layer is treated with a silane coupling agent. The electrolytic capacitor comprises the following: a capacitor element that has an anode member having a dielectric coating film, and a solid electrolyte layer formed on the surface of the dielectric coating film; a solvent that is impregnated into the capacitor element and includes a nonaqueous solvent and a silane coupling agent; and a case for sealing the capacitor element and the solvent.
