The present invention relates to an apparatus for peeling onions. The apparatus has a simple mechanical configuration, requires less production costs, and has an enhanced performance of removing peel covering a bulb. Especially, the functional apparatus can peel onions regardless of size of the onions. The apparatus comprises: a base frame; a front plate and a back plate that are arranged to allow multiple space bars to form an installation space in the front side and the back side of the base frame; and an onion transferring part which is located on the installation space and horizontally transfers onions with a pair of attachment chains driven by a driving motor for a conveyer installed on a back side of the back plate. |
