In order to reduce the number of components of a locking apparatus to simplify an assembly process, reduce material cost and improve product productivity, the present invention provides a locking apparatus for a vehicle, which includes a base case including a hollow part having a guide pin which protrudes at the inner circumference; a lock driving shaft which is placed to pass through the hollow part, has a driving guide groove formed at the outer circumferencial front side, moving forward and backward by the guide pin and guides rotation, a driving control protrusion and a safety protrusion which protrude at the outer circumferential rear side to be separated forward and backward, and an ignition protrusion which protrudes from a rear end thereof; a trunk opening and closing member which is selectively connected to the driving control protrusion to open or close a trunk according to forward and backward movements and a rotation of the lock driving shaft; and a handle locking member alternatively connected to the driving control protrusion for locking a handle and the safe protrusion for preventing the handle from being locked according to the forward and backward movements and the rotation of the lock driving shaft. |
