<p>Provided are an operation trigger method and device for machine-to-machine communications. The method comprises: when the content of an active resource changes, service capability middleware acquiring a change result of the content of the active resource stored in the service capability middleware; the service capability middleware acquiring a description of an operation resource related to the active resource according to information about the operation resource related to the active resource, the description of the operation resource containing a condition for sending an operation request to a target resource and a universal resource identifier of the target resource; when determining that the change result meets the condition, in the description of the operation resource, for sending the operation request to the target resource, the service capability middleware constructing the operation request for the target resource; and the service capability middleware sending the operation request to the target resource according to the universal resource identifier of the target resource. The technical solution of the present invention can improve the stability of a trigger operation in an M2M system.</p> |
