<p>The machine (1) has a plate (2) comprising two parallel and opposed major surfaces (3) and a lateral edge (4), which extends between the major surfaces. A locking device (14) fixes the plate on a support plane (P), and an edge banding group (18) is adapted for mounting an edge band along a part of the lateral edge of the plate. The edge banding group is provided with a feed device for directing hot gas i.e. pressurized hot gas, to the edge band or lateral edge of the plate. An electrical and/or pneumatic dispatcher (31) is coupled with a support frame (20). The edge band is designed as a glue-free edge band.</p> |
