摘要 <p>This processing method in a device (10) for measuring an object to be measured involves inputting the strength of an optical signal reflected from the object to be measured, and grouping, for each signal strength correspondence relation showing the same portion of the object to be measured, the signal strengths of multiple reflected optical signals detected by the detection devices depending on time elapsed. The time difference between the signal strength detection times of each of the signal strengths from multiple detection devices (21, 22) is calculated for each grouped signal strength correspondence relation, and, on the basis of an installation interval (D) and said time differences between signal strength detection times, the velocity of the object to be measured at the signal strength detection time is calculated for each grouped signal strength correspondence relation. On the basis of the calculated velocity of the object to be measured, the length is calculated of the object to be measured in the advancement direction.</p>
