RE-GENERATING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USED-CATALYST FOR RHDS AND VRHDS DESULFURIZATION

The present invention relates to a regenerating system and a regenerating method of a desulfurizing waste catalyst in residual hydro desulfurization (RHDS) and vacuum residue hydro-desulfurization (VRHDS) processes, by which sulfur and heavy metals inducing the deactivation of a desulfurizing waste catalyst generated in the RHDS and VRHDS processes may be removed for regeneration. To accomplish the object, the regenerating system of a desulfurizing waste catalyst in the RHDS and VRHDS processes of the present invention includes a pre-treatment washing bath for removing an oil fraction included in a desulfurizing waste catalyst containing the oil fraction, sulfur and carbon; a drying furnace for removing the sulfur and the carbon from the waste catalyst from which the oil fraction is eliminated through the pre-treatment washing bath; and a recovering bath for recovering vanadium from the waste catalyst from which the sulfur and the carbon are eliminated through the drying furnace.
