[Class 120(ii)] The ring of a ring and traveller spinning machine comprises a body 11 having a lubricant-receiving annular groove 17 in the outer face thereof and a plurality of pairs of ports 19 and 20 leading therefrom to the traveller-engaging bearing portions of the ring, the ports of a pair being disposed in different planes and a wick 21 common to each pair of ports having its intermediate portion seated in the groove. Lubricant is fed to the groove 17 from a well 14 in a ring holder 10 by means of a wick 22 passing through a duct 18 formed in said holder. |
