According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method of treating plating wastewater includes: (1) a process of separating wastewater generated in a plating process into acid/alkali wastewater, CN-based wastewater, Cr-based wastewater, and collecting each of the wastewater; (2) an acid/alkali wastewater treatment process of performing a solid-liquid separation of the gathered acid/alkali wastewater in a settling tank and then storing the separated liquid in a reusable water storage tank to reuse the separated liquid as rinsing water in the plating process; (3) an integrated treatment process of CN-based wastewater and acid/alkali wastewater of injecting chlorine into the collected CN-based wastewater to treat CN, then merging the treated CN-based wastewater in the storing tank of the process (2), thereafter performing a solid-liquid separation in the settling tank, and then storing the separated liquid in a reuse storage tank; and (4) a Cr-based wastewater treatment process of reducing the collected Cr-based wastewater into trivalent chromium using a reducing agent of 6-valent chromium and then performing filtering and discharging. |
