PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power consumption reduction device for a vehicle, which can reduce battery consumption even during long-time parking by a simpler configuration.SOLUTION: A portable machine carried by a user is configured to transmit a response signal to a polling signal from an on-vehicle machine. The portable machine transmits a polling stop request to stop transmission of the polling signal from the on-vehicle machine, on the basis of a polling stop operation for an operation part by the user. The on-vehicle machine mounted in a vehicle stops the transmission of the polling signal when receiving the polling stop request. |
