PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more stably obtain a three-dimensional image.SOLUTION: An endoscope comprises: a lens barrel whose one area including at least the leading end thereof is inserted into a cavity of the body of a person to be measured; and an imaging module provided at the leading end of the lens barrel and having at least a pair of imaging elements provided in parallel with a predetermined distance between them. The imaging module is switched between an accommodated state in which the imaging module is accommodated in the lens barrel such that the extending direction of the imaging surface of the imaging element extends along a first direction, which is the extending direction of the lens barrel, and a photographing state in which the imaging module is projected to the external part of the lens barrel such that the extending direction of the imaging surface of the imaging element extends along a second direction, which is different from the first direction. |
