<p>The present invention relates to a piston cylinder unit including a cylindrical pressure tube (1) having a surface protection on an outer surface thereof and a piston (7) movable in an axial direction in the pressure tube (1) and having a piston rod (8). The piston rod (8), which is disposed on an end surface (5) of the pressure tube (1), is guided to an exterior from the pressure pipe (10) through an end side opening (13) in a sealed state, an end region (6) of the pressure tube (1), which starts from the end side (5) of the piston rod, is out of the surface protection, the end region (6) out of the surface protection is covered by a pot shaped protection cap (5) enclosing an anticorrosive agent (16) and the end region (6), and the protection cap includes a seal (17) in an end region thereof, which is inside in an opposite side of the piston rod side end side (5) of the pressure pipe (1) to enclose a surrounding in a radial direction. The seal (17) is transformable and adjacent to a cylinder surface (4) of the pressure pipe (1) in a sealing scheme and an inner surface of the protection cap (15) is covered with a fluid-type or a paste-like anticorrosive agent (16) to have a thickness reaching the surface (4) of the pressure tube (1).</p> |
