The present invention relates to a horizontal vibration motor vibrating in a horizontal direction. The horizontal vibration motor includes a case having a hollow shape and an open bottom surface; a bracket to close the open bottom surface of the case; a weight member installed inside the case and having a circular or elliptic shape; a coil installed between the weight member and the bracket to generate a magnetic field having a direction and an intensity which are changed according to a direction and an intensity of an input current; a magnet installed parallel with the weight member, cooperating with a magnet filed generated from the coil and horizontally moving together with the weight member by being integrated with the magnet; and a pair of elastic members facing each other inside the case while being interposed between the weight member to elastically support both sides of the weight member. In the horizontal vibration motor having a structure as mention above, if a current having a changeable direction is input to the coil, a direction of a magnetic direction around the coil is changed by Fleming′s left hand rule. The magnet integrated with the weight member horizontally moves in a direction of the magnetic field around the coil together with the weight member. The elastic member maximizes vibration of the weight member while elastically supporting the magnet, which horizontally vibrates. |
