PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering control device and a vehicular steering control method for achieving compatibility between target steering response and a sufficient steering reaction force.SOLUTION: A steering control unit 19 sets a value obtained by summing a stationary steer control volume, which is the amount of control responsive to steering angle, and a differential steer control volume, which is the amount of control responsive to steering angle speed, as a target steering angle for a steering wheel. Here, the differential steer control volume is calculated while switching a differential steer map according to a travel mode of a vehicle to calculate . A reaction force control unit 20 sets a target steering reaction force applied to a steering wheel 1 on the basis of the value obtained by summing the stationary steer control volume, which is the amount of control responsive to steering angle, and the differential steer control volume, which is the amount of control responsive to steering angle speed. Here, the differential steer control volume is calculated with reference to a differential steer map fixed in advance. |
