PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine which reduces operator's risk of getting burn or injured by touching a chute with bare hands when the operator wipes off dirt on a chute surface of the vending machine containing commodities heated for selling.SOLUTION: The vending machine includes: an in-cabinet fan 12 which circulating the air in a housing chamber 2; inner door opening/closing detection means which detects opening/closing of an inner door 5; and chute cooling control means which forces the in-cabinet fan 12 to operate in the strong wind mode when the inner door opening/closing detection means detects that the inner door 5 is opened while heating is performed by a heating device 10. By causing the fan to operate in the strong wind mode when an operator opens the inner door 5, the temperature of the chute surface decreases more quickly than in a conventional vending machine and the operator can easily notice that he/she needs to wait unit the chute 9 is sufficiently cooled. |
