The method involves injecting (S2) a first plastic melt into region of injection mold and injecting (S3) a second pressurized plastic melt into another region of injection mold. A base body is formed from the first plastic melt and the seal elements are formed (S4) from the second plastic melt. The second plastic melt is added before the injection of a physical foaming agent e.g. gas or a granule. Closed pores with gas intercalations are formed when pressure in the second plastic melt is reduced. An inert gas is supplied to the second plastic melt in an external container. An independent claim is also included for an injection molded part.
