PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable magnetic head of high-frequency magnetic field assisted recording system, including an oscillation element improved in current resistance by preventing current concentration in the oscillation element.SOLUTION: There is provided an oscillation element 110 that comprises, between a main magnetic pole 120 generating a recording magnetic field and a trailing shield 130b, a non-magnetic metal layer 114, a spin injection fixing layer 113, an intermediate layer 112 and a high-frequency magnetic field generation layer 111, and generates a high-frequency magnetic field. A non-magnetic metal layer 114 adjacent to the main magnetic pole is tapered so that a width is increased gradually from a trailing side toward a leading side. |
