The sealing plug (10) comprises locking cylinders (15,16) which are adapted for sealing the connection openings (11,12) to be used, in which one of the locking cylinders partly surrounds the collecting trough (17) which forms a collecting volume. The collecting trough receives the cooling oil flowing out, when the locking cylinder is pulled from the connection opening. The locking cylinders are arranged at the free ends of the guide geometry (18,19) which is provided for guiding the sealing of connection openings.
