PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically improve the heating efficiency in a hot-stove for blasting in a blast furnace. SOLUTION: In a method for operating a hot-stove facility providing the plurality of hot-stoves for blasting the blast furnace; in at least one term during operation, the hot-stove temperature is controlled by adjusting the blasting amount into the hot-stove during blasting process and also, excessive hot blast without blasting to the blast furnace is introduced to the other hot-stove during burning process, and the hot blast is used with the either or the both formations, in which (1) the hot blast is used as heat-source for preheating air for combustion and/or fuel gas or (2) the hot blast is mixed into the air for combustion. Mixed cooling is drastically reduced in comparing with the conventional method or the mixed cooling is lost, fuel consumption rate of the hot-stove facility can be reduced, and also, the heating efficiency in the hot-stove facility can drastically be improved.
