PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container crane which can detect obstacles in a wide range with high accuracy and suppress cost increase due to increase of the number of parts, complication of a control system and so on.SOLUTION: A container crane comprises a travel device, a girder which is supported to the travel device and extends in the horizontal direction, a trolley capable of traveling along the girder, a spreader 10 which is suspended from the trolley and is capable of removably engaging with a container, an ascending/descending mechanism for causing the spreader 10 to ascend and descend, a laser scanner 22 which is arranged in the spreader 10 and radiates a laser beam to acquire coordinates of a light impingement point of an object and a crane controller which controls the drive of the trolley and the spreader 10 on the basis of the coordinates of the light impingement point acquired by the laser scanner 22. |
