<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end protection member which is used in a cylindrical paper container, has high barrier properties and less causes deterioration of the barrier and leakage of a content fluid due to hot air in molding.SOLUTION: An end protection member is used to protect the end surface of the trunk member of a cylindrical paper container which is composed of a laminate material consisting of a paper layer as the substrate and a barrier layer. Heat-sealable resin layers 14 and 15 are formed on the front and back sides of a barrier material 13 and the thickness of each of the heat-sealable resin layers formed on the front and back sides is 60-140μm. The heat-sealable resin of the heat-sealable resin layers has an MFR of equal to or higher than 0.4 g/10 min and lower than 1.0 g/10 min. The barrier material consists of a vapor deposition barrier layer 11 composed of an inorganic compound vapor deposition film and a polymer barrier layer 12 composed of a barrier polymer film, and the melting point of the barrier polymer film of the polymer barrier layer is 200°C or higher.</p> |
