<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector having a good workability, enabling an FPC 40 or an FFC to security depress a contact portion 22 of a contact 14 by a slider 16, and enabling the acquisition of a narrow pitch and a low profile, without damaging the strength of each portion, a specification, etc.SOLUTION: The low profile is achieved by: providing a resilient portion 34 and a fulcrum portion 32 between a contact portion 22 and a connection portion 24 of a contact 14; disposing the contact portion 22, the resilient portion 34, the fulcrum portion 32 and the connection portion 24 in a substantially crank shape; providing a pressure receiving portion 20 extending from the resilient portion 34 at a position opposite to the connection portion 24; and providing a pressing portion 36 connected to the slider 16 in a longitudinal direction, so that the pressing portion 36 mounts the slider 16 on a housing 12 in a rotatable manner between the connection portion 24 and the pressure receiving portion 20.</p> |
