PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplicated data processing circuit, capable of easily discriminating excess of processing time of software. SOLUTION: Each CPU (A system/B system) 13 or 14 performs, on start-up of a thread, counter value reading processing of reading a counter value n from a counter circuit 12 and activation cycle determination processing of determining whether a single thread is activated in a predetermined interruption cycle based on the counter value n, and outputting, when it is not activated, an activation cycle failure signal OFL. When the excess of processing time of software occurs, at least one tread activation is skipped since the thread is under execution in spite of input of an interruption signal INT. Therefore, abnormality of the thread activation cycle or the existence of the excess of processing time of software can be discriminated by determining whether the counter value n is differed from an expected value in the activation cycle determination processing.
