METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF FIBROUS DEGENERATIVE PANCREATITIS

A method for the surgical treatment of fibrous degenerative pancreatitis comprises laparotomy, the longitudinal total dissection of the major pancreatic duct with its ostium, the transverse cut of the left anterior-lateral wall of the duodenum and the dissection of the posterior wall of the choledoch. The total longitudinal dissection of the major pancreatic duct, its ostium and the left anterior-lateral wall of the duodenum is connected with the segment of the jejunum. Both ends of the latter outside anastomosis are cut fashioning two stumps in a shape of the isolated longitudinal pancreatojejunoduodenoanastomosis. The continuity of the small intestine is resumed by end-to-end or side-to-side anastomosis.
