The stator (2) has a carcass in which grooves extending longitudinally between teeth (21) and a winding are formed. A head (5a) of the winding is formed out of the carcass, and includes spaced beams of conductors and/or spaced conductors (51). The spaced beams and/or spaced conductors are staggered. A channel element channels coolant e.g. oil, toward the spaced beams and/or the spaced conductors, and/or from the spaced beams and/or the spaced conductors. A case surrounds the head, and forms watertight cavities to receive the coolant. |
