The present invention relates to a user device and a control method thereof. The control method of the user device includes the steps of: storing the use information of a user for content by monitoring the content used by the user; receiving a search request of the user for the content; searching the content based on use information of the user for the stored content; and providing information related to the content as the search result. Thereby, the information of the content with high relativity with the user is provided as the search result when the content search is requested.
