METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MESSAGE ROUTE IN AD-HOC NETWORK

A method and apparatus for message routing in an ad-hoc network are disclosed. A method to route a data packet from a receiving node includes following steps receiving a request packet from a receiving node; calculating a routing probability based on remaining energy of the receiving node and the link quality; and determining whether the request packet is routed to a neighboring node based on the routing probability.
