1. A mobile terminal comprising:
a storage unit that stores an application program and image data corresponding to the application program; a display unit that is configured to display a first image based on the image data; an input detection unit that is configured to detect a user input; and a control unit that is configured, in response to the input detection unit detecting a first input in a state where the first image is displayed on the display unit, to control the display unit to display the first image, information on the application program and a second image for executing the application program, wherein the control unit is further configured to execute the application program in response to the input detection unit detecting a second input to the second image.
