The purpose of the present invention is to provide a separating type modified cross-section conjugate fiber and a manufacturing method thereof, which can manufacture microsynthetic fiber of spun yarn by using elliptic hollow modified cross-section spinning and distribution plate for complex spinning after mixing copolymerization polyester, which is easily melted in alkali solutions, with polyester having fluidity and thermal characteristics which is able to be melt-spun; in addition, the present invention can manufacture modified cross-section synthetic extra fine denier raw cotton, suitable for a spinning process, by complex spinning copolymerization polyester having an intrinsic viscosity (IV) of 0.5-0.6, with polyester having an IV of 0.6-0.7 by using elliptic hollow modified cross-section spinning and a distribution plate for complex spinning; and then stretching, crimping, heat setting, and cutting the separating type complex fiber obtained by the complex spinning. The separating type modified cross-section complex fiber comprises: polyester which can be melt spun in two ways having compatibility and which has 0.6-0.7 of IV; and copolymerization polyester which can be easily melt in alkali solutions and which has 0.5-0.6 of IV. The polyester is formed in elliptic hollow cross-section, and the copolymerization polyester is drawn into the upper and lower sides, respectively, around the central part of the polyester. |
