<p>A parking space management system and method for managing a plurality of parking spaces (32). The management method comprises the following steps: receiving registration information from a client, wherein the registration information corresponds to a first car; receiving booking information and insurance information from the client, wherein the booking information comprises a booked parking space, the booked parking space being one of the parking spaces, and the insurance information indicating an insurance period and an insurance plan; judging whether the first car parked at the booked parking space satisfies the insurance plan at the conclusion of the insurance period; and writing an insurance-conclude record corresponding to the insurance information if the first car parked at the booked parking space satisfies the insurance plan.
