The discharger has an application in lightning protection installations used for household and industrial needs. The strong magnetic field between the spherical sparkers allows for increased intensity and fast response of the spark which improves the operating parameters of the active lightning protection head. The discharger consists of a porcelain insulator with a screw nozzle (1), magnets on the central electrode (2), spherical sparkers (3), metal casing (4) with a screw thread at both ends, fixing screw (5) and main body (6). When starting assembly works, at one of the ends of the metal casing (4) the porcelain insulator is wound (1), at the other end the main body (6) is wound, and the air gap between the spherical sparkers (3) is determined by rotation, which guarantees a breakthrough under certain voltage. |
