The purpose of the present invention is to provide a punched-type substrate structure having the paintability of an active material improved. For the purpose, the punched-type substrate for a battery having the paintability of an active material improved comprises: an upper frame wherein a part having lug formed thereon is the widest and the area decreases toward an outer side; a lower frame; and a side frame for connecting the upper frame and the lower frame on a side surface. Vertical wires, which are formed to radiate from the lug of the upper frame inside the substrate, and horizontal wires for connecting the side frames meet each other to form a plurality of meshes. Intervals between the vertical wires and the horizontal wires are set so that the areas of the meshes can be within each certain level.
