PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new corrosion monitoring technique which can also detect an influence of microorganisms.SOLUTION: A test piece for corrosion monitoring used in corrosion monitoring evaluating a progress of corrosion occurring in an aqueous metal member includes: a cathode portion which is formed of the same metal material as the metal member and has unevenness formed on at least a part of the surface; and an anode portion which is electrically insulated from the cathode portion and is formed of the metal material. The test piece for corrosion monitoring can detect an influence of microorganisms in the cathode portion and accordingly can capture a cathode reaction with higher sensitivity, and as a result, the corrosion monitoring with higher accuracy becomes possible.
