An LED illumination device (200), comprising a transparent housing (20), an LED light-emitting device (100) and a support (21). The transparent housing (20) and support (21) form a closed chamber; the LED light-emitting device (100) is located inside the chamber, and fixed to the support (21). The chamber is filled with an inert gas, for conducting heat generated by the LED light-emitting device (100) to the outside of the transparent housing (20). The inert gas with which the chamber is filled in the LED illumination device (200) allows heat generated by the LED light-emitting device (100) to be conducted to the outside of the LED illumination device (200) without the need for a heat dissipating body. Thus the shape, size and weight of the LED illumination device (200) need no longer be restricted by a heat dissipating body, so that the LED illumination body (200) is more attractive, safer and more convenient to install. |
