<p>A safety gate for children or pets includes a barrier member with a predefined width for barring an opening with a larger width between stationary structures, at least one holding member for fixing the barrier member at the structures, and at least a first extension part provided between the holding member and the barrier member for bridging over at least a part of a difference between the width of the opening and the width of the barrier member. The extension part comprises at least one section with a stop member. The section extending in a longitudinal direction and being insertable into a support opening by an insertion depth. The stop member abuts selectably in a first insertion depth and in at least a second insertion depth which is different from the first insertion depth.</p> |
