PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductive load drive device that can relax an application stress on a driving transistor even when flyback energy is applied to the transistor while maintaining the smallest possible size of the transistor.SOLUTION: A change control circuit 20 holds a clamping voltage of a clamping circuit 7 at an initial value V1 when a switching control circuit 21 steadily holds a driving transistor 2 in an on state or an off state. The change control circuit 20 controllingly lowers the clamping voltage of the clamping circuit 7 from the initial value V1 to a voltage V2 when the switching control circuit 21 controllingly switches the driving transistor 2 off from the on state to cause a transient variation in a voltage applied to an inductive load 3. |
